Medicated flake foods

When you are feeding the AngelPlus medicated flakes do you have to do anything special to the water? More frequent changes, etc? Do you need to remove carbon?

I just ordered them and curious.

Just feed once every other day for total of 5 feedings. No food during off days. Keep up rountine WC. Flakes not affected by carbon. HTH.
