go to the search function above the ad's.. put in ROCKY MOUNTAIN DISCUS>. there are several threads.. thats what i did awhile back..

Yep I have 11 discus from Al he has great fish. Can be hard to get a hold of sometimes but worth it. I have better luck calling him then emailing.

I have spoken with Al Johnson several times years ago, and was given some great info from him, however, the two times I bought fish from him, I was very disappointed. This was when yellow discus and leopards first became available. That's my experience. I have seen pics of fish others have bought since those times I did, and wondered why I didn't receive fish like that.

Bought 11 discus from Al well. No problems

I've bought from Al in the past. His fish are of good quality. Personally, IMO not the quality of some of the reputable breeders here on SD. I've found his personality to be somewhat 'harsh' and not always easy to deal with. Also, as someone else mentioned, I've had issues trying to contact Al several times. Therefore, as a result I decided to move on..

Click on water and water changes.

Scroll down to the 4th picture. The 2 PB's were supposed to be solid yellow. The other 3 yellows I bought were the same. Carol Roberts bought these 2 from me as well as the other fish in the picture. The others came from Ray Kosaka, Discus Hawaii.

The 2 Coari Greens I got from RMD were nor Coari Greens, either.

Thanks for all the info guys! I only 30 mins away from rmd so this way i dont have to pay shipping!

WHAT?! why are you asking us?! YOU should have already been there!! Taken Pictures and reported to us!! LESS shipping.. equls MORE FISH! :D:D:D
