FS: 5 discus in Pacoima CA LPU only

regretfully i have to part with my remaining discus. I'm simply copy/pasting from my Craigslist add. i put it on there for 3 reasons:
1: i wanted a higher price tag since i've dedicated a lot of time into raising them
2: because i will only sell to locals, i do not have the means to ship.
3: i have a lot of time to sell them off, so me being in no hurry means i can hold off with a higher price tag on CL without really losing anything.

so, i will definitely give a SD member some type of a price break if you take all 5. just pm me.

I have discus i need to sell off due to downsizing.

I acquired all of these discus from Forest in Malaysia and were imported through Kenny Cheung in Daly City California. I got all of these discus in December of last year and they were all at 3”. My smallest ones I believe is the 2nd Grade A Red Turquoise @ roughly 6” as well as my female checkerboard female (confirmed), all others are larger and my Grade A Red Turquoise male is a confirmed measured 7”, I measured him recently. They still have a little growing to do but for the most part they are at the general size at which they will stay and most are coming into breeding age now, I have a confirmed female that has laid eggs a few times now.

Please, please, please do not ask if i will go any lower, I’m losing out on this sale as is and I will not negotiate on price.
So here's the price breakdown

6.5" Red Snake Skin (sex unknown) $120

6"+ Checkerboard Turqoise (sex unknown) $120

7” Grade A Red Turquoise #1(confirmed male) $150 more expensive due to size

6"+ Grade A Red Turquoise #2(suspected male) $120

6" Checkerboard Turqoise (confirmed female) $130 more expensive because she is confirmed and has laid at least 6 times now.

at the pace that these discus are not selling i'll probably still have the male when you have the money, lol. i'm honestly in no rush and i will consider holding it for you if i get no bites on selling for a week. i'll keep you posted.

derek, you still interested? i'm willing to knock off $10 bucks off of each fish! i really need to sell these now not only to finish setting up my other projects but to buy Christmas gifts :-). Make me reasonable offers and i will definitely consider them. 125g w/ stand/canopy/lights will be up for sale as soon as all the discus are sold. i also have 6 rummy nose tetra, 2 cories and 1 male albino bushy nose adult pleco if anyone is interested.

Thanks again Visu! Please let me know how they acclimate. The male was by far my favorite discus. Also, if you decide to get some RCS let me know and i can hook you up when i get all my tanks set up. i plan on breeding them like crazy. and i have some lines that are coming in from Taiwan

i'm glad they are settling in. Hopefully the male will settle down enough to go back to being a good father. He was the one that would chase the others away here. Just give them time. If worse comes to worse i suggest you use a cone cover. are they in their own tank?

hey Hendri. How you been buddy? for the time being i am getting out of the discus hobby and migrating over to the planted tank scene. It will hopefully all come together at one point and i would like to have a 240g fully planted with 16 discus. Who knows when that might happen though lol. how are your discus doing?
