I start at 3 days and only a few times a day and then increase the frequency as they grow, until they are getting up 6 feeds a day.

I usually start feeding BBS after day 3 or 4. Just a little bit until I know they're all eating after a few days. Then like Eddie said increase the amount
until they pop!

can ask how long can the bbs last in fresh water in the fry tanks in general?
if they die soon after in fresh water, won't putting a lot pollute the water and raise the pollution level?
thanks:)

They can last a long time. With proper care they should not be a problem for water quality.

How much is alot when concerning BBS? Lets say you have a small batch of fry, 50-60.....how much BBS do you hatch and feed per feeding?

This depends on the age of the fry. Initially small amounts and then increase the amount or feeds.
