Robert you do not use Praziquantel in the food it is used for external parasites (flukes and flatworms).

DOSAGE: 1/4 teaspoon per 40 gallons of aquarium water. Dose 1 time and leave in the water for 5-7 days. This product must be mixed with ethyl alcohol (vodka) to become soluble in water before use.

Just sharing....In Feed: To each 100 grams (3.5 oz) of dry feed (flake, granular, or pelleted) thoroughly mix in 400 mg of Microbe-Lift Praziquantel. Moisten the dry mixture with 25 to 50 ml of grain alcohol for each 100 grams of dry feed. Gently blend the moistened mixture to incorporate the Praziquantel into the feed. (Caution: Grain alcohol is flammable.) Allow the mixture to air dry (do not heat). Break up any clumps and package mixture. Store in a cool, dry place. Feed the medicated feed daily for 5 to 7 days.

For accuracy and reproducibility, carefully weigh dosages. However, one tablespoon is approximately 2.9 grams and will treat 300 gallons.

If used in food, its for treating tapeworms but dosing in water is just as effective.
