Pretty much yes. It is just a BD that is suppose to have a green sheen to it.

My Ocean Green has never had stress bars. It is basically a BD and does look greenish in certain light.

It always seemed to be more of a marketing scheme than a real strain to me.

That is why in discus shows, they categorize the discus fish. Such as , spotted, straited, solid.etc
can i call my PB Blue Lagoons, if i us a certain black light?? lol

This is Jeffrey Yang's version of an ocean green i have been importing lately, these guys are quite different to a blue diamond though there are some similarities. Too me they appear golden based, the eyes are different to a bd and the base color is much lighter. Some traces of black pigment can be seen through the body much like a golden discus. So far i've only seen medium small sizes, so can't comment on final color, but i will say there is some green color in the fins on the ones i imported.

Not at this stage. A couple of people i know have them, hopefully i'll get to see some big ones eventually.

they come from the ocean and there green thats awsome.
