FDBW FOR GROWING OUT FRY

I have recently added Al's freeze Dried Black Worms to the diet of fry. Im using it on a batch for the first time and they are taking to it very well since day 14. You will have to squeeze a pinch or two under water and they will sink where the fry will consume all of them. It works out well as it is a very clean food and certainly fills up their bellies as you can see in the photo below. Dont just use them on your larger discus, give Al a call and start feeding them to your fry.

I agree Bob, a great food! I usually put a batch into my old coffee grinder to grind them up smaller, for the smaller fry, soak in some hot water. Nothing goes to waste!...Bill

I also do as Bill does...The coffee grinder works great on them.....Its one of the most important pieces of equipment here. :)

I also use a coffee grinder. My adults get the loose and I grind cubes for fry and juvies. I keep a bag of very fine ground for the fry and a bag of a little more coarse for the juvies.
