What do you think of these?

Bought these as "Red Turquoise" discus in June. They have grown quite a bit with the bigger three pushing 5.5-6". Two/three of the nine are stunted but the growers are impressive. What is your opinion on strain identification? The only thing I know about them is that they are from a breeder in Malyasia and are red turqs... but they must be some sort of outcross.

I love the color they look happy. It's just the shape looks a little off.

Yeh- turqs of some kind. The one in the third pic may be a throwback to a near wild ancestor. Time will tell if they get more striated. I like 'em just the way they are, because they're obviously happy and well cared for. Very nice.
