I'll go ,,I hate it when you get a pair of discus to lay eggs,and do everyhting correctly just to have them gather the freeswimmers AGAIN, AGAIN, AGAIN back onto the cone until there is no fry left...I watched this happen all day ,today....

I hate that the "one" time you leave the lid open, a discus jumps out of the tank and kills itself.....happened to me a while back and that kind of made me want to ?#!@%$&^*&...

I hate it when I feed Al's FDBW, a generous portion, & 20 minutes later they want MORE even though there are some floating on the surface. My fish don't get the top feeding thing, only 1 or 2 will try & it's kinda a kamikaze leap that scares everyone...especially me.

i hate it when your discus are breeding like crazy then as soon as your breeding tank is set up they stop.

Two of my big annoyances is when the discus poop during or right after the water change. Not a little either....big turds. And also when the discus get right under the siphon tube when you are trying to work and you get a piece of them and they go flying across the tank sending the others into a panic and splashing you with tons of water.

Oh and also the major splashing when in the net, they go nuts.

I hate it when they kill off every other living thing in the tank. I also hate it when you leave the syphon in the tank for 2 minutes while you go to answer the phone and one of your best juvies wedges himself inside the tube so tightly that he is curled into a "C" and you don't think that you will ever be able to get him out.

I hate it when my most favorite discus pair finally have 3day old fry attatched,,then all a suddenly you see the female start pecking on the tank wall like she wants to lay eggs again..Everybody knows what happens the fry....AAAARRRGGGHHHH

I hate it when your pairs spawn like crazy when their tanks are in the living room and you have to haul all the water up from the basement, then when you build them a fish room in the basement and change more water than ever they decide they're not in the mood. :mad:

i hate it when you do a big water change and the city you live in decided that same day to flush the water system with super high amounts of chlorine and chlorimine without notice. which ends up killing all of your 9 discus that you spent a small fortune on.

If I was a Shrink by proffession ,I would label the discus hobby as a Bi Polar ******* child..The Highs are so high and the Lows are TOOOO low..Make me insane sometimes watching what happens..A box of pins/razor blades is problably a cheaper way to tortue myself ,but I love it too much...
