Sure, they make a good live food but can carry parasites. LOL

Live food (fry), but I think it's a bad practice since IF the discus mature and decides to breed, it might be an egg/wriggler eater. Who knows.

Not usually any problem - but keep the guppies in a separate tank & feed the fry to the discus - they would love that ! LOL

Feeding guppy fry to discus will not induce a fry eating behavior if the discus spawn down the road. I used to toss guppy fry into a 100 gal tank with 12 adult discus (6 domestics and 6 wilds) and most grew to adults. They aren't the great food many think that they are.

Are they compatable, though? Guppies like harder, alkaline water with temps in the mid 70's. Doesn't sound like discus water to me. Do people do it? Sure. They keep all sorts of incompatable fish with discus all the time. Is it the best thing to do? Not IMO.

Alright Mat, they don't make a good food but could be a snack. LOL I wouldn't feed them to my discus anyways. :D
