I believe it's the San Francisco strain that are the small ones, unless there is a strain from the GSL's other than the common ones I've heard of.
Very curious to hear everyones opinion..

these are the only ones I have ever used, they are very small and will generally be accepted on the second or third day of free swimming.

I'm sorry...I just checked my notes and it is the SanFransico brand that is the smallest. Sorry for the bad info.
http://www.discuspairs.com/ArtificalRaisingFry-wgt.pdf I have not tried Bill's method, but reading it, it sounds to be VERY good. I hope you don't mind Bill!...Bill

No problem Bill, hope you get to try it out on your new wild blue pair.
My experience fry are able to eat any bbs by the third/fourth day. The premium eggs have the best hatch rate, what I use.
Caution, have plenty of tanks ready, you can easily have 150 fry in only 3 days (a long week-end).

The San Francisco brand is not really the smallest, their Nauplii size is: ± 480 µm but what everyone get's if not the GSL. The smallest Nauplii size is: ± 430 µm is from INVE with extremely high levels of (n-3)HUFA, allowing the early switch from rotifers to Artemia. This is what I start my Discus fry and Clownfish fry on since it is really small but it is pretty expensive compared to the S.F brand and GSL.
where do you buy this brand??
