im setting up a 60 gallon discus tank while setting it up with all the rain we had i saw the grass in the backyard if i clean it well can i put it in my tank or am i nuts

I believe the rain is acidic and is not clean enough for discus fish (?) and that the grass from your garden/backyard would not survive, it's not an aquatic plant (?). That's my thoughts anyway.

Are you trying to hide it from the police? If so, seal it in air-tight bags and weigh it down with a stone. Should be ok. :)

If you want the grass look in your tank, try blyxa japonica. You are probably going to need CO2 and decent lighting.

the grass won't survive in the water for more then 1-2 weeks , Vallisneria looks very similar to grass and its pure aquatic plant which survives most conditions
