I just eye-ball my dosing. For my smaller 20's with my pairs, I fill the measuring spoon about half-way...half of what I would use on a 55. 40's and up get the full dose...Bill

I just fill it half way, about 1/8 full...nothing precise. Never had any problems using too much. In fact I have been using more with the colder weather. Water from the tap smells VERY bleachy now, so I have been using 1/2 tsp=50g...Bill

you can't really overdose so a little more is better than too little. You can go to walmart and buy a combination pack of premeasured tsp, tbsp cheap. On another note they say the high temp tanks require 1/2 dosage

Do you guys put the powder directly in the tank? I just got Safe and I have been dissolving the powder in a glass of water and pouring it in the tank.

Hey Jen...get those spoons and measuring cups at the Dollar store...even cheaper. I put the powder directly in the tank as soon as I put the Python in it and start filling...Bill

If you happen to be going that way. Otherwise, the nearest supermarket has them with the usual kitchen gadgets.

My sister-in-law would drive 10 miles to save a dime, which isn't really saving at all...
