Has anyone found one particular brand of frozen brine shrimp or bloodworms to be significantly better than another?

Thanks,

Samcatj

I hear good thing about Brine Shrimp Direct (http://www.brineshrimpdirect.com/c1/c5/Frozen-Bloodworms-c15.html). I only use Hikari to help my newly acquired Discus acclimatize. After that..it is a variety of FDBW, flakes & pallets. As most of you know who Jack Wattely is, he is feeding mostly quality flakes and pellets. The other thing about Discus is that you will increase your chance of success by acquiring quality Discus from a reputable seller. My 2 cents.

I've been using BSD's brineshrimp cysts, flakes etc for years. Great people to do buisiness with. But I would get my frozen Bloodworms from Dan at Aquatic Foods. Better price (once shipping is included) and better BW's (Hikari)

PE Frozen Freshwater Mysis 69.5%
Ocean Nutrition Special Formula VHP 17.5%
Ocean Nutrition Formula Two 17%
Ocean Nutrition Discus Formula 16.7%
Hikari Frozen Krill 11%
Ocean Nutrition Brine Shrimp Plus Frozen Food 10.3%
H2O Life Frozen Bloodworms 9%

Anyone try Omega One or have any opinions on it? I would prefer to use Hikari too but there is someone here locally selling Omega One at ~$7.50 (Bloodworms, Brine shrimp, mysis, krill) and I don't have to pay shipping. Unfortunately they only carry Omega One :(

The main thing is shipping. I don't want/need 10lbs of the stuff. Buying 2-4 pounds and paying $20-30 shipping seems a bit much.

I opened a pack Omega one FBW (when Hikari was not available) and promptly threw it away. The FBW looked "bad", I told my friend (also LFS owner) who asked me to try it and he does not carry that product any more.
