Cover eggs?

I notice some of you cover the eggs with a mesh. What do you use for that?

I use aluminum gutter guard from Menards or ACE...Bill

I use 1/4" screen (metal) because it can be bent and cut to fit any shape or size needed. You do have to be careful to bend any sharp bits inward so the fish can't injure themselves.

Its to protect the eggs from getting ate either by parents or tank mates.

I can see using the aluminum as it won't rust. Any other ideas?
