red behind grill plates ?

Some of my Discus fish has developed a red color behind their grill plates. I'm sure its not natural and they seems to be not well.

Is this some kind of disease ?

Is your water ok? Nitrites, ammonia levels zero? Nitrate levels below 10 ppm? Have you tried some salt? What are your WC? Do you need prime? These are a few issues that you should check. Hopefully, others will have more ideas. That's it for me.
