A 90 is kinda small for a biotope. It won't take much to crowd such a small tank. It would depend of how big the group of discus is. I think you would be better off using a 125 or larger.

In that case, maybe 6 discus, a few cories, and a few really small fish, like a small group of rummynose, or cardinals, with a thin layer of sand, and some driftwood. That would be plenty for a 90.

ok I really like rummynoses. How many do you think would be ok? maybe like 10-15? or is that to many? Also what types of cories do well in higher temps?

Perhaps 8-10, with 4-5 panda cories should work.

if it's to be a biotope then get wilds and no plants except some floating. if you want plants then it's not a biotope.
