I've been having a continual problem with brown algae blooms in my community tank. It's a 60 gallon, BB, no plants only discus with 4 adults and 4 juveniles. PH is 6.2, temp 83. The tank has been up and running for many years. All the discus are healthy...no issues other than developing the brown algae quickly. I clean the entire tank, wipe down all the glass, rinse out filters etc and within 2 weeks the tank glass is covered again. What can I do to prevent it?

Check phosphates and nitrates. but with enough light and without more glass cleaning it is normal.
