So yesterday I got my first discus. I visited Marty who is a great guy.

I picked up 3 cobalt blues and 3 Pigeons. If they come out anything like the parents they will be awesome! I also got a few Blue Rams to go with them as well.

Everybody is looking good this morning. Eating and swimming around together.

Way to go Cliff. I know how excited you have been to get started keeping discus. Marty (Chopper) is a good friend and a great guy. I glad it worked out for you!

Sorta an unwritten rule. You can't make a post like this without a few pictures............



Who knows, maybe we will see one or two of those guys at the NADA show in 2012.

Ok here are some pics. Everyone is still a little anti social so they aren't the greatest shots but once they get over that phase I will get some better ones. Warlock I did do a sponge swap with Marty (Chopper) so I have a nice seeded sponge running in there with them. Been checking my parameters and they are all looking good.

dang....... i was looking forward to it. They have another one coming up, but its about 5-6 months from now hahahah

GL with your new discus. did you get it locally?? mine is growing like weeds!!!!!!!

Yup. Chopper is about 30 minutes from. Just an all around good guy and think I found another Harley riding buddy.
