Hi, I'm looking for fully glazed cone with lip that will look good in my granite floor tank. The color goes by two names ruby red and imperial red. I understand you can't match it perfectly, I'm just looking for around the same red( or darker) and black specks/swirls whatever maybe a tiny bit of white. I wish I would of found your posts sooner (found you while searching about netting discus, I think) I already ordered a cone and 2 XL large pleco caves from another seller but I think your work will fit my decor better. I will end up using the plain one in the fish room. If I like the cone will you glaze the caves? Or that can't be done after?
Sorry for the links it won't let me upload
lol I need one more post

So did you cut the tiles and glue/ silicone them to the bottom of a glass tank? It looks really neat!!

Hi MrCloudz, tomorrow I will send you photos of all the glazed cones I have and maybe you will seen one you like to order. I can make you any size/type of cave and it can be glazed, same as a cone. I will need your email add, to send the pics to. Please send to me in a private message. Thanks for your interest!

Good idea Gary, I do have several glazes that will compliment the tiles.

Perhaps you can talk your Discus into laying eggs in a contrasting color other than orange to help go along with the 'decor'...P=)

I thought that the fry was distracted by the darker colors so attaching to parents would be harder?
BTW, very nice tank. I might do something like that. Ummmm gives me some ideas;)

I just cut the tiles to size and placed them in. Included are pics of the the 55g's I tried it out on first. The 55's were already filled and when I placed the tiles. There was a definite suction when the tile touches the floor, hard to explain but the glass bottom grabbed the tile away from me the last 1/4". I did the 125 empty and there is still one small bubble under one of the tiles. The tank floor stays very clean because all of the poop rolls into the 3/8" canal around the perimeter. I think when it's time to change I will use 18" tiles for the 125 for less seams (I got them pretty tight tho), I had the option but it didn't dawn on me. It took 9 tiles with perfect cuts, there are 10 to the box and 2 didn't match. I had to pick 1 from the 2 you can see it in the bottom right.

If not actual sprinkles, at least I am thinking good thoughts about discus when I make them and my big tank of discus is right in the room next to my "factory", they see every cone being made and put their stamp of approval on them! Thanks so much Vera, sending you an email later today.
