Too many Discus...

I transferred a lot of sub-adults to a newly purchased 180g this week,but..there's still too many and I'm out of large tanks,so..I'm going to release them in the lake we live on later today, although it still has four feet of ice on it. There's a spring feeding it, so that spot will have to do!

I agree w/ Eddie, although I'm sure the native predator fish will love you for it... Have you tried posting an add on Craigslist/local forum, or maybe selling to a LFS? Seems cruel to just throw them in an icy lake

wonder of how many discus did you put in your new tank. How many large tank that you have at the movement?

I put 19 in the 180...I sold off my larger tanks and stuff a decade back; now I'm at a dozen of 50 breeder flats aside from the 180..

yep!! my mom is on phone as i type.. telling me about my birth... AGAIN!!! its a yearly call.. she tells the story of how the dr. told her she had a girl... then she was sad.. she thought for sure it was a boy (its a mexican thing, before ultra sound).. then he said, APRIL FOOLS.. and then there i was.. :)

My wife is a moderator of a parrot forum..This morning, she got a message from a long time breeder that with the bad economy, she just couldn't hack the bird world, so she was letting them go out the door!.....Forgetting that in some places in the reach of the internet, they haven't a clue on April Fools......
