Ive got my discus, in the 55g now. there doing alright just abit shy .

be careful with thick layer of gravel...bacteria can buil up quick..

Good luck with those little guys with all that substrate.

Stock some more plants and make sure that substrate is filled with roots after the plants have been established.

If you are wanting to plant your discus tank check out the planted section on the forum.

It is always best to overstock with plants when you first start out.

I like the tank. Very interesting piece of driftwood.

Thanks. (:. ill probably be getting a few more plants soon,. but in the middle where the drift wood is theres some shoots of dwarf hairgrass. so im hoping it will look better once it grows.

Be careful with gas pockets as well with that depth of gravel.........
