Hi

if you know PP dose , it great for QT. if not, don't do it without advice.
if your over dose, within 5 min, you will lose your fish.

here is QT procedure from Al . Hope it will help for you

I thin that some of the Tetras are sensitive to many meds. I wouldn't do it without speaking to someones who knows these particular fish.

Exactly, tetras are especially sensitive to many treatments and I would never use PP on them. PP is a drug of last resort unless you are a professional with a lot of experience in its use, it will do far more harm then good.

I would do QT. You are inviting trouble when you take shortcuts.
