Quick Question

Hello everyone!! For those of you who have had Discus for a while, does a Discus tend to "hang" with other Discus that look like them or are they friends with everyone??? I have two white face red melons and a blue turquoise and I'm about to add a blue diamond to the mix.

it depend on their size...

the melons are about 2.5 - 3 inches and the turq is 3.5-4

In my tanks it doesn't seem to be size that is the issue but more of who gets along with who. The color of the fish shouldn't matter it is there personality and attitude towards one another.
