Weekly water changes on mike's or kenny's discus?

Hi discus people i am new to this site and know a good amount of info on discus but i have some questions. If i got some asian discus from mike beals or kenny/forest discus would i be albe to do once a week water changes? As in does any do that whit discus from these people? So if any does and knows it should be fine please post :):)

Whatever discus you buy, you will have to do frequent water changes to keep them healthy. The amount depends on many factors that you should research on here as that question is so open-ended.

Age/size of fish, size of tank, number of fish in the tank, planted/barebottom, type of filtration and on and on. That said, if you aren't buying adult discus to be kept in a large enough tank then you are going to have to do water changes more often than once a week if you want them to grow out to their full potential.

Oh you guys think im matt. lol i am matts cousin. He texted me last nite telling me this. He started fish and i kinda got into it to so he helped me out on some of my questions on what fish i should get but i really liked discus so i am maybe going to try discus but maybe not. I need to find out the info to see how hard they really are. But so you guys know this is matts cousin.

If you buy 2 little discus.. doesn't matter how often you do water changes. Those discus are not going to have a good start.

Ok sorry not trying to get annoying. So last thing and ill back off. How maany water changes do you think i should do on two little discus from mike or kenny around 2-4 inches? Oh and they would be in a 75 gallon matt got for me.

Like until how big? And can i do like twice a week and the two days i do it do a 50% water change or do i have to do i have to do the 25% thing? Thanks

Alright well people i think matt is going to do discus but i think i am going to something easier like african cichlids or angelfish because i dont think im ready for discus because im just strating fish and matt has done fish sence he was 6 so bye :)
