Actually the easiest way to remove fry. So much less stress than chasing them all over the tank with a net...Bill

Why do you transfer discus fry that small? Is it to foster them so a high value pair can start another spawn?

You are right!
i was transfer them because i have confidence that i can raise them when they able to eat the brine Shrimp artemia.
So,the parent will lay egge and spawn again within 5-6 day.
Another reason is all my foster parent have fully ocupied.

That's a really nice pair. It's interesting to see that they started to swim towards each other at the breeding cone.

Impressive, I was wondering with a fish tank that large how do you feed them the Brine shrimp. Do you target feed them?

Lawrence,

Thanks for sharing, is the cone there to provide a target area for the fry so they all gather around the dark cone? Very interesting!

Do you have a video showing them eating brine shrimp because I'm interested to see how they eat the brine shrimp from such a big tank.
