if this isn't for pick up only, it did already long gone.

Well, if it were shipping, it would be like $100-150 to ship it. Then they have to take the risk that it won't make it. I'm surprised they aren't able to sell it in the area they're at still.

Also, if it were shipping, it would be cheaper for me to just go to Mike's place and pick up one next time he had it for sale.

It is still here and the reason for local pick up is because thats where you can get a deal. As Eric stated if it were to be shipped then the total price would be back to what Mike sells them for. Im surprised nobody has grabbed it but at mentioned earlier Im glad to keep it but wouldnt mind if someone could get it at the price Im selling it for.

Great Discus.....wish I lived closer. Any idea as to the sex of the fish?

I know discus sex guessing is an art more than a science, but I'm just going to give it a shot for fun, so don't rely on my prediction at all! There are some people that are really good at it.

It looks like a male to me.

At the risk of showing how much I don't know but to get a chance of understanding the 'system' more, I drew the signs of why I think it's supposed to be a male.

Let's not hijack this thread, but maybe start another one elsewhere discussing sexing technique. This is an interesting subject that I have no luck with. I'd love to learn more about it. That is a stunning fish, wish it was in my tank!
