What do you use to clean all the equipment that one would use in the tank for maintenance?

Depends on what you're cleaning and what you're cleaning it for?

Are you talking about disinfecting? A bleach solution works great for that. If you just want to get grime off of something, then just tap water...

I use 5% bleach but that's probably not really accurate because I 'eyeball' (and/or "nose") how much I need. Then to make sure I get rid of the chlorine I rinse it out with water dosed with sodium thiosulfate (any dechlorinator will work).

Second the mild bleach solution. A mild vinegar solution does a great job on buildup on tanks and filters also.
