How many discus

Hi all just wondering how many discus could I keep I'n my 240 litre 60 gallon tank I wish to keep some cardinal tetras,corydoras,bristle nose plecs. I intend to do 50% water changes every couple of days.

How big are the discus you are getting?
I believe It's 10 gallon per Adult discus..

About 3 inch the ones I'm getting got 6 on order so that should be ok then .

That'll be just fine, along with a few cories and BNP's, and a moderately-sized school of tetras. 50% wcs every couple of days should be acceptable too, with a good tank cleaning routine.

To get 3 inch discus to grow out to 5.5-6 inches pluss. You will need to water changes each day. You will also need to feed beefheart many times a day. Feed beafheart 4 or 5 times/day water changes50- 75%/day. I do mine 2 times a day on small ones. You should get 3/4 to 1 inch /mo. Dont feed blood worms, they love them but it dosent help them much. I just feed them as a treat 1 or 2 times every 10 days. Feed Als freeze dryed black worms with a good beefheart. Jerry
