Like the title says, how big are your breeding pairs, measurement in inches is preferred and measured by tail length (TL). Other kinds of measurement like centimetres and standard length (SL) is allowed. :D

I'm making this thread as I'm interested to know how big are the breeding pairs from our SD members. It would also allow others to determine whether they have a reasonable sized breeding pair than the norm. There isn't a 'fixed' size for breeding pairs as we all know by now that breeding pairs can range from many different sizes.

Oh, it would be helpful if you state the size+age+gender+strain of your breeding pair.

Post pictures if you want to 'decorate' this thread :p

I am not an expert on the picture stuff. What I do is when replying to a post use the Go Advanced reply. Then I use pics I have uploaded in my computer. They need to be resized to a smaller pic. I use the computer software I have on my laptop. Then once they are under the limit you can upload. Other more experienced posters can help you further. You can use a hosting site like Photo Bucket and U tube.

No need to resize. Use a free site like Photobucket.com. Open a free account. Upload your pic to your account on the site. Once uploaded when you put your cursor on the pic there will be several links displayed underneath it. You want the link on the bottom. Copy and paste it to your reply here and it will appear when you submit the reply.

Thanks for sharing, much appreciated. Seems like the average size so far is 6 inch TL. Northwoods Discus, your spotted pairs are really beautiful, nice shape and the spots are well defined.
