Air dried bugs

I was looking at an online retailer who sells such items as air dried: silkworm pupae, earthworms, water flies......Can these be made into a thickened paste?

Maybe im wrong but unless freeze dried, the bugs will decompose.

What killed the bugs in the first place? If they were raised by a reputable firm for fish food and dried, then with a blender and water, I don't see why not.

With all the available prepared food, freezedried food, and frozen food available, why bother? I have wasted my time experimenting with such things. No point in it.
