Adding tap water

I need to add more water to my aquarium. It is still cycling! I don't have a barrel of aged water yet. Can I add tap water with chlorine straight in to tank and afterwards add AquaSafe? I'm guessing that would kill the bacteria on my filters??

Add the dechlor solution first, then the tap water.

Hi Christian,
If you adding water just to top off the tank and there are no fish then just add the water and dont worry about aquasafe. If you are doing a large water change then add AS first. Ed
