Hello,
I have a pair that were laying eggs repeatedly on my filter's intake tube (probably 5 - 6 times already).
I purchased a discus breeding cone; but, the discus will not use the cone. They keep trying to go back to the intake tube; so, I placed a plastic mesh around the intake to block them.
They still have not used the cone and seem frustrated that the intake tube is blocked, as they still try to peck at the mesh around the tube.
Any suggestions on what to do?
Additionally, the much larger discus (male) will tend to eat the eggs a little afterward.
