size separation?

I bought 6 discus about 3 months ago- they were larger then 1/2 dollar size. Lost one - and of the 5 left 2 have grown at least double the others. Much larger - why / how does that happen and now the two dwarf the others and are somewhat aggressive to them. Sould I separate by size? I do have another pair about thier size in a separate tank I can move them to. Also - They all prefer live bloodworms - have tried to intoduce lots of other foods -none work as well. How can I ween them off of the live ones and get them on something else?

discus grow at different rates.. when you buy smaller sized fish. it happens.. but when you get larger fish.. the smaller ones are culled.. so only the good/faster growers with desirable tracts make the cut.. no pun intended.. hence the higher price tag
