I'm finally getting around to getting our pics together from our trip a few weeks ago to Holland and Belgium. I play in a thrash metal band and every couple years we record a CD and do a few shows around the world. What made this trip special is for the first time we took the wives.;) It was quite the circus with 17 people traveling together but it turned out to be just awesome, everyone got along great and we had a great time. My wife Rochelle is really into her photos and scrapbooking so before we left we bought a new camera. I guess it's the latest, greatest Sony DSC HX 100v. I thought the full DSLR would be a little too complicated and to tell the truth this one is complicated enough:angry: The thing has GPS, 3D, 16.2 megapixels(is that good?) I don't know anything about these things and I'm so jealous when I see the awesome photography of some of our members like Jose(jcardona1) and Matt(discus-n00b) those guys just kill it with the lens!

The other cool thing was that the 4 shows we played were all within an hour of the city of Eindhoven so we just setup base camp in a hotel there and we had more time to spend sightseeing rather than being on a stupid bus. I have to say that the country and the people there are totally awesome. We met a lot of great folks, not just fans, but people that were friends of friends and I had made some contacts with a falconry group that was right there and got to spend some time with them. Extremely cool.

We did this show out in Katwijk which is out on the coast and these 2 shots epitomize what the trip was about. The serenity of an evening on the north sea and a few hours later, the mayhem of some fans taking over our dressing room.

I think that is but I'm not sure. The rules there are very different. It's easy for the average person to acquire a bird of prey but there's almost no hunting. They also have birds we cannot have. At Falcon Crest they have a pair of bald eagles breeding!

Great shots! The states are a great place to live, but Europe can't be beat as a place to visit.

That condom store is a tourist attraction! While we were there a group of about 20 tourists were there with a guide showing the place and everything! Weird!

Thanks David! We have a new lable so hopefully they'll have the good sense to put it on itunes. Our new cd comes out in a month or two.

Graspop was unbelievable. Biggest gathering of metal music and fans anywhere. Very sore the next day!
