So I finally invested into the discus world after selling enough of my baby angels to pet stores and locals I met a wonderful lady that shared the same interest as me and she helped me get these gorgeous fish me and her were planning on ordering from Kenny on here then we met a guy that was selling fish tanks 55 gallons with everything new only 35.00! and we found out he had 27 discus that he was trying to sell he got into them for business and we are into them for a hobby many of his tanks were in horrible condition super white cloudy water .. im guessing high HIGH AMMONIA it was so thick I could not see the fish the blue pair I bought the female was thrashing and so scared when we just walked into the room she even jumped out of the tank when he was trying to catch her so she has had a very hard time :( now I have her in very clean water and am syphoning any extra food thats left over from what they dont eat in 10 mins or less the male has been chasing her every now and then n like kissing or nipping her side not enough to damage her at all.. Im uploading photos of what they looked like with no flash and then with a flash... the other pair are in my kitchen and the female is the white one she has one eye that the pupal is very small and it looks weird it worries me but I'm hoping I can help her well here are the photos please tell me what you think the bars on the blues have gone away that was when I first got them in there new homes so they were very stressed understandable. They are about 5-6 inches each pair was 80.00.
