any ideas on what this is?

Iv'e had this discus for about 5 months and yesterday morning I noticed tis white spot at the base of his right side fin - photographed it many times and it doesn't show to well. He's acting and eating normal - could it be a scrape or something? Today it looks the same as yesterday - 68105

My SS would get one every once and a while and I would up my water changes and it would be gone in a couple days.

+1. My fish often get dots or gray spots on their fins here and there, they come and they go. Sometimes I add salt if I think it will help clear them up. 1 TBS / 10 gallons. But as Marc says, no worries.
