Koi clay for discus planted tank

Hi all


My friend gave me some koiclay and wondering if anyone has used it in discus planted tank? I google it and it support to clear algae but not confident to use it. Someone uses to make food but no sure about plant.

Go for it.....Koi clay is good stuff and I want to use it too for my discus tanks.....will give update when using it.

its not going to do anything to clear algae due to an imbalance in a planted tank. The only way to combat algae is to figure out what your imbalance is and solve it.
