What's everyone think about the decapsulated hatchable type? Is there good hatch rates on them or am I better off with just premium or grade A.
Thanks

Brine shrimp dirrect for me, too. I've never used the hatchable decaps. I generally get the cheaper 70% hatch rate ones.

I use hatchable decaps from an ebay supplier exclusively. Nothing against the normal type, there just that much more a pita. My hatchrates with the decaps are as close to 100% as your going to get, and you don't have to worry about eggshells. The decaps contain more usable protein then those hatched from eggs, and they hatch faster. The only downfall is your going to pay a premium price for them. NO big deal for the occasional hobbiest, but the cost will add up if you have multiple batches of fry going.

These are what I use: http://cgi.ebay.com/DECAPD-BRINE-SHRIMP-EGGS-Ready-Hatching-8oz-/150626517976?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item23120a43d8

If you choose to try these also pick up some artic copepods (freeze dried) fry love them, very high in protien and taken much more readily then golden pearls. A great stand in should you miss a batch of BBS.

What amount of regular eggs do you think that bottle compares to?

Decapsulated brine shrimps no need to hatch and feed them directly to the fish.....Simply rehydrate the decapsulated brine shrimp eggs for a few minutes in fresh water and feed directly to your fry or juveniles (This step is not necessary for adult fish.). Note: A small amount of decapsulated eggs goes a long way. Don't overfeed. Again, these are non-hatching.
