What? Dead?

Lol you think I would let my fish die?!?! I mean for sale. I'm trying to get rid of all of them at once so there is no aggression in tank.

Yeah I know they are really pretty and all but they're also a pain. As some here know I start school soon and I was going to have to get rid of them but then able to keep them but its going to be too much work... If I can sell off everything I hope to get one more 20g - rimless from adg and do a planted tank as I am with my mini s. I simply don't have the time to mess with this "big" tank.

I'm guessing you have experience with planted tanks? If not, be prepared for weekly WC's and plant trimming if running a high tech set-up. Also, if running high tech with CO2, you need dose fertz daily. I found high tech planted tanks to be nearly as much as much work as discus tanks. Low tech is easy.

I have no experience and will be doing high tech, I'll read just like I did for discus. Everything you hear is how hard they are to care for and yatta yatta. They were the first fish I've ever taken care of and are doing perfectly fine so I'm sure I can grow a plant

A high tech plant tank will take up more of your time than your adult discus tank. I'm assuming those are adults. If so, they don't require much work. How much water are you changing? If they are adults, you don't need to feed often and water quality will remain high for a longer stretch between WC's. Are they really a pain or do you just want to do something different?

The only reason they take up too much time is that I have to change 50 gallons of water through a python twice a week so thats an hour or more each time...
