Discus ID plz

Hi guys just wondering what my new discus is :)
Is he a turquoise? sorry i dont know much about the different types.
also my tank is 28 degrees, is this ok for discus i've heard they like 30 degrees?

yes this fish is a red turquoise. also this temp sounds a little cool

It's a red turquoise.............I keep the temperature around 27-28 degrees in my tanks.

28 should be fine for a fish that size. I'm with the other guys, he's a pretty red turquoise. Do you have other discus in the tank with him?

Yes there is another one exactly the same, I'm quite sure they are male and female from using the dorsal fin-line crossing the tail fin trick that i have only just learnt lol. the temp is kept a little lower due to other fish in the tank which im not sure like it so hot.
I went looking for angelfish and came home with these 2 because of the price i got them at :) my tank is 6.4ph 4dgh(70ppm) and the nitrates never rise over 5ppm so hopefully they will be happy.
do you think they will be ok at this ph and hardness or should i slowly lower it slightly
They are extremly peaceful and beautiful fish :)

The pH is totally fine and so is the hardness. Wild discus have a harder time with higher pH/hardness, but domestics are quite adaptable. Mine are living well at pH 7.6 - 7.8!

Don't want to tbe a downer but there are a lot of indicators (tricks) people use to TRY to sex discus. Most of these indicators only provide us with good guesses.
