Very Thick Bar

One of my Leopard stress bar got very thick toward the tail area. Basically, it is like 2 bar got combined into one thick one.
When I just got it, it was very young without any bar. This and others are all eating well and active.

looks more like a turq then leopard.. but an interesting pattern.. :)

I would agree. Not a leopard and not a stress bar.

I had a Turquoise quite a few years ago that went black like that on one side only.....one side looked perfectly normal...turn him around and he was black .....otherwise perfectly normal & healthy....it disappeared after a week or so

Looks like a bruise to me .

Mine is black on both side equally. It got chase around at times by the bigger ones but it looks healthy to me.

I have a giant flora that had the same thing it went black on both sides the same as yours it turned out to be a bruise . After about 6 weeks the black bruise cleared up .

The black patch near the tail is slowly clearing up and the blue is showing up more too.

The black patch eventually did go away. Seems more likely to be bruise.
