T5 Luminaire

I am thinking of replacing the hood on my tank with a T5 Luminaire, either on legs or hanging.

My Tank is 15.5 inches wide and the T5 unit is 12inches wide.
My tank is a 60gallon and in my bedroom which is quite small.

So the tank wont be completly covered by the T5 unit, so what i want to know is will it cause problems for my room?
Like water evaporating into the walls or ceiling or creating mold.

It is a well ventilated room, with the window and door open all the time.
