My Brother In law Showed up last night with 2 of these guys. Each about 3-3.5" he bought them as "Yellow Sunrise" BC he knows i'm looking for a yellow Discus. They have some white lines around their head and face.

Looks nice. They look like a yellow sunrise to me. But I'm not an expert in identifying. I have a golden blue diamond that looks like yours but it has silver eyes and blue tint on the fins where yours is yellow. At any rate they are nice. I see in North Dallas craigslist there are some just like yours for sale http://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/for/2597526530.html

It looks like the body will get more yellow as they mature. Which I just learned something about today. Merigold pedals will serve as a yellow color enhancer with fish.

I think thats where he got them was from the craigslist add.
Yeah i lucked out in the BIL depot.

Does anyone have any good info on the Yellow/Golden Sunrise? I'm having trouble finding any good info.

They will get more color as they get older. I also had one that started almost white, a year latter he has a great yellow body with some white veining

Cool, one of the two has more yellow today. The other one is still being anti-social and pretty pale ATM. The do have a little pepper on the noses, but hopefully with a new lighter background it will fade out some.
