Fry are not likely to survive very long in any tank that contains other fish.
yep.. not very likly to survive.. or succeed..

there was a post with vid of a guy who had fry growing in a planted tank. not sure of the other tank mates but it looked really cool. walt.
well, there are not short cuts.. put them in their own tank and to it right..

Thanks for the reply. I currently have 12 discus in a 125 gal fully planted. The only other fish that I have in there are a pair of german blue rams which generally keep to their own corner in or around a small flower pot that I placed in there for them.

kid, always a possibility. i never would of thought it'd happen but ended up with an odd pair with some serious instincts on raising their fry. i had a pair with what looked like they would have about 10-15 survive in a large community tank yet I had decided to upgrade to a strong filter which ended up cleaning the water toooo much (so whatever was in there that they were eating I guess ended up sucked up by the fluval 405). always a possibility though. can you post pics?
