Although Charlie Drew is not very active in this forum, he devotes much time and is very successful in breeding rare plecos, cories and the list goes on. He lived close too and knew Simply's own Barb Newell very well. He is also very close friends with our own Joe (Moon).
Charlie reminds me so much of Hans in the way that they both would not hold any secrets to fish keeping and breeding. Their methods work and we are free to use it if we choose.
I want to acknowledge Charlie today on his 72th birthday as he inspires me when I see him at fish auctions lugging in his home bred fish and setting them on tables ready for the auction. He has made a name for himself and people bidding would know those are Charlie's fish by the way he bags them. Naturally they always went for more money.
Not sure he will read this but thought I would share with you a great person I look upto for many years to come.
