I have 6 adult discus for sale - as a group. Priced to move ASAP at $200 OBO.


1x Pigeon Blood mix - lots of black peppering - Female (lays eggs frequently) - Originally bought from Southwest Discus (www.azdiscus.com)
2x Tiger Pigeons - Male and Female who have breed several times - would likely work out if they were separated from the others - Originally bought from Southwest Discus - Female is a runt, lays eggs frequently
2x Blue Turqs - Likely male and unknown - Originally bought from Rocky Mountain Discus (www.rockymountaindiscus.com)
1x Red Turq - Female (lays eggs frequently) - Originally bought from Rocky Mountain Discus



Kept in RO, weekly large water changes and fed mostly frozen blood worms and beef heart.

If any one is tempted by the whole setup, here is a breakdown:


6 Discus
Used 120-P ADA Tank

4x Tek Light with 3 mo old bulbs + hanging kit

CO2 Cylinder (needs recert soon) 10lb
AquaMedic CO2 Reactor
Milwaukee Regulator
Marineland Magnum 350
Coralife 36w UV Sterilizer
SMS122 CO2 Controller with newer probe
ADA Drop Checker
Various timers (good ones), power strips, ETH inline 300w heater, and anything else under the tank, not already listed
All Seiryu Stone - whole scape is done with these right now - I can't remember how much exactly, but there is a lot
All plants and anything else living

Then I have the whole water setup that I need to get rid of:


Brute 32 gallon trash bin, plumbed with a top-off float and the wheeled roller base and lid
All pumps, airstone, heater, 50ft+ of tubing for refilling a tank at a distance
AirWaterIce Typhon III RO Unit with recently replaced filters and permeate pump (a lot nicer than the normal auto-shutoff valve)

Then I was planning on replacing the AquaSoil and scape in the 120-P.


I have a bunch of locally collected stone - looks like Seiryu but darker
3 and a half bags of the NEW Aquasoil
1 bag of New Aquasoil powder


$150 OBO

Everything is in good or excellent condition, some things could use a good cleaning. If someone wants to buy it all, I will throw in a used ADA Mini-S that is setting with the aquasoil in a corner in my office and any other extra maintenance stuff I have, laying around, etc (filter pad replacements, ferts, etc).

Suggested maintenance if you do buy the whole setup:


Clean Filters
Clean out the water change bin
Clean out the UV Sterilizer and CO2 reactor
Get a new one of these for the Magnum 350: http://www.bigalspets.com/Marineland.../dp/B0002565QG
Maybe clean or replace the tubing throughout - since you are going to have disassemble reassemble anyways.


If I end up parting things out, s/he who spends the most will have priority option at anything else they want.

If you are on the ledge, make me a reasonable offer... Would be an awesome xmas present for someone :)

I am interested. How large are these?

rdub - I am only guessing, but I think the largest is 6+ inches. They are all about 1.5 years old and full grown.
