Need to find homes for my angelfish fry soon!
Their bodies are roughly dime size now, going to wait for about 3-4 weeks to grow a bit more until I get rid of them. (unless you want them now)
I raised them for my upper level genetic's course to study some basic genotype/phenotypes of the parents (test cross).
From my research online about angelfish genetics, these are the genes present.
g= gold gene
M= marble gene
+= wild type gene (silver)
Pair
Adult Male is double recessive g/g
Adult Female is codominant M/+
70243
I came to this conclusion by receiving roughly 50/50 ratio of offspring of marble and silver wilds, thus the offspring's genotypes will either be +/g (silver wild phenotype) or M/g (marble phenotype)
In about 3-4 weeks when they are big enough id like
FS - $1.50 each (no deformities and the benefit of knowing their genotypes if you plan on breeding :))
FT - Fish (mainly interested in GBR's or other rams... Discus fry? lol) or throw me some other trade offers that i might not be thinking of.
I see NO deformities on my fry at all at this stage, all very strong thus far.
SOCAL LOCAL PICK UP ONLY - I have zero experience in shipping lol
Here is a video of the fry right now

Thanks for looking!
