Another potted tank coming along (a bit different)

Apologies for double posting. More appropriate here, I think

I've learned a lot looking at pictures on here of other's tanks

This is my 'go' so maybe you can learn something as well

I used some nice colored pots from Hobby Lobby

I added silicone and little grates to the top of the pots
I wanted the ultimate ability to lift the plant in and out of the tank for ease of cleaning (I haven't added discus yet, but plan to do so)

Looking like putting the grate lower in the pot will look nicest

I also like one of the other threads with 'clear' pots. That might be a future possibility

I've got a few neons in there. I didn't like the way they school.
I'm moving to runny nose tetras, which are amazing schoolers.
The rasboras are doing pretty well too

The plans are Crinum. Not doing so well (I hope the better lights on this aquarium will help)
I really like the anubias. Not a fan of the amazon swords, so far.
