these are my fish and the set up they are in. i had them in a planted tank but the plants died when i raised the temp to 85F

i think i picked out a good set of fish. but im not sure. i was told about this site after i had my first 6 fish. i got 2 more blue diamond since then and i think they are really good healthy fish. rounded faces with all light blue body coloring. no stripes with red eyes. very pretty. ill try to get pics of them soon to post.

the only one i have problems with that i think is a bad fish is the biggest one i have. he came with a damaged eye from the store. i some how missed this when i looked him over. or it didnt really show up till a day or 2 after i got him home. but its better now since i treated the tank.

please let me know what you think of my tank set up and my fish. im not sure what kinds of things i should do with my tank to help find a pair. i did take out all of the rocks for easier cleaning. my fish still seem to hang out in the back of the tank. they are only active in the afternoon.

i feed them blood worms 2 times a day, random portion of either brine shrimp, Miskito larva, vegies or beef heart 1 time a day, and 1-2 times a day with a little pellets.

Setup looks great. Fish are awesome. Good luck. I am in the same boat as you. Got my first 6 fish 4 days ago from the nearest reasonable fish shop in Kunming, China. I am watching daily to see any telltale signs of pairing off. Nothing yet.
Keep giving updates and pics.

Regards
Richard
